My name is Megan and I live in Georgia….about a thousand miles away from the land in Wisconsin that my Brothertown ancestors walked on. I am a homeschooling mother of 2 children (an 11 year old girl and 9 year old boy) owner of 2 businesses (rental properties and an online doll store), and am a long time genealogical hobbyist.
I am an enrolled Brothertown citizen and have been actively involved with the Tribe since 2009. In that time I have served as a co-editor for the Tribal newsletter, a writer with the grants committee (we were fully funded!), a member of the Grant Advisory Panel, and was a member of the Envision and Restoration groups. I have very much enjoyed getting to know other members of our tribal family and look forward to meeting and getting to know many more.
Megan. I descend from Mary Elizabeth Hammer’s daughter Minnie Modlin. I would love to communicate with you. There are some questions I have about Mary Elizabeth Hammer and some things to share with you about Minnie’s family.

Hi Juliana and Megan- I am working on ancestry for my husband’s family. We have a picture of Minnie from when she was probably in her 20s. She is my husband’s 4th great-grandmother. I would love to learn more about Mary Elizabeth and Minnie. I would love to chat with both of you.
